GEMSA 2026

This webpage is to help our 1st year umpires who are planning on officiating GEMSA games. This will get you set up in the GEMSA RAMP system so that you can provide your availability for games.

  1. Register in the GEMSA ramp system! If you were an umpire from last season, we already have you in the system and you can simply login and provide your availability. If you are “new” to GEMSA, but are a player from a previous season, simply login with your RAMP account and then our administrator will approve your membership. If you still can’t login, try clicking the orange button “Forgot your Password; Get it Reset Here”. Then if you have an account you will be able to reset your password. When you exhaust those options, then you may actually not have an account. So click the green button to create one.

  2. After you do this, the administrator will “Approve” your membership and then you will be able to set your available days and get games. This is a manual process which could take some time, be patient.
  3. How do I provide availability? We are using “Available Days” (not Dark Days) – so you click on the left hand button that says “Available Days” then in the page that shows up, choose “Add Multiple Available Days”. Then simply click or click and drag the days on the calendar that you are available to umpire. Please do not attempt to try editing times. From past years, this causes nothing but problems. If you are available on a day, our assignors know that it is for the regular hours of 630pm or 700pm start times! Just make yourself available for the entire day please.

We highly recommend you also download the “RAMP Assigning Application” for your mobile device. The icon looks like this…

You can use that app instead of the website to accept or decline your assignments, put in your available days and also see your upcoming games. If you are providing your availability using the app, make sure you click on the “ALL DAY” slider bar to enable it! Do not fool around with “times” – just choose all day to avoid issues with your availability not showing properly for our assignors.
